Lord Shiv, Lord Shiva
Lord Shiva

Prajapati Daksh is the son of Lord Brahma and Devi Sati is the youngest daughter of Prajapati Daksh. She went out along with her sisters in a nearby village for drawing water from river. While drawing water, she finds a rudraksh in the river.

Prajapati Daksh is an opposer of Lord Shiv. He plans to place the idol of Lord Vishnu in the temple. But the idol was not complete due to the absence of the idol of Lord Shiv. Narayani yagna was performed by Prajapati Daksh as the idol of Lord Vishnu was not entering the temple. That time Devi Sati was collecting Parijat flowers in the forest and lost her way. While trying to find her way, she reached Rishi Dadhichi's ashram. There she found the solution of the problem of Prajapati Daksh about placing the idol of Lord Vishnu in the temple. According to the guidance of Rishi Dadhichi, Devi Sati placed the Shiv Linga on the idol of Lord Vishnu and hence her effort of placing the idol of Lord Vishnu in the temple got success.
